Portugal Sou Eu and IAPMEI put sustainability on the agenda

 

With the aim of supporting companies in adopting sustainability measures in a more efficient and informed manner, encouraging responsible production and consumption practices, Portugal Sou Eu and IAPMEI discussed new sustainability practices at a meeting held at the ISAG – Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão (Higher Institute of Administration and Management) in Porto at the last 28th of January.


The guest panel included interventions by Braz Costa, General Director of CITEVE, Deolinda Silva, General Director of the leader of the Portuguese agrofood cluster consortium, Vasco Lagarto, General Director of TICE.PT, Márcia Pereira, CEO of Bandora Systems, Fernando Leite, managing director of Lipor – Associação de Municípios para a Gestão Sustentável de Resíduos do Grande Porto (Association of Municipalities for Sustainable Waste Management of Greater Porto) and Maria João Cravo, CEO of Pássaro de Seda, who shared their experiences with the audience and highlighted the importance of sustainability in the economy.
