As representatives of Thailand Tourism, Rosário Louro and Susana Freitas attended the traditional Wai Kru ceremony, organized by the Thai Massage Association in Portugal on December 12. The event took place at the Change Thai Message venue in Lisbon and was a unique opportunity to witness, first-hand, one of the most important traditions of Thai culture.

The Wai Kru ceremony is a ritual of mutual respect for the masters of the art of Thai massage in which students and teachers express gratitude and strengthen the bonds that unite them. This symbolic gesture reflects not only the appreciation for the knowledge transmitted, but also the deep reverence for the masters and Thai culture.
