Bestravel held its 20th Convention from 30 January to 2 February 2025, on the island of Faial, and Alexandra Pires, representing Dubai Tourism, was present.

This year's edition was attended by 40 renowned exhibitors and over 200 registered participants, including tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, booking centres and insurance companies, among others.

Carlos Baptista, administrator of the Newtour group, stated that the “event not only symbolises the boldness and innovation that characterise Bestravel, but also sets new standards in the national market by holding, for the first time, a convention in the Azores”.

The event also included a special visit to the island of Pico and ended with the traditional gala dinner and awards ceremony for the agencies.
